Pharmacy Technician Certification in Montana

Pharmacy technicians-in-training must be certified in Montana within 18 months of registering. The state accepts both the PTCB and the ExCPT; other entities may be approved by the board as well. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent. The initial application fee is $60. Applicants must submit a photo, proof of identification (such as a driver’s license) and three character references, of which one must be from a registered pharmacist.
