Pharmacy Technician Certification in Missouri

The state of Missouri requires pharmacy technicians to register with the state and renew that registration every year. The initial registration cost is $35 and applicants must include a notarized affidavit and passport photo; the State requires fingerprints be taken and paid for using a specific vendor (find more information at: www.machs.mo.gov.) Applicants are not required to hold national certification. Even though it’s not required, certification can help pharmacy technicians gain a deeper understanding of industry standards and practices as well as improve professional opportunities such as job advancement and higher salaries.
