Pharmacy Technician Certification in Massachusetts

Pharmacy technicians must be certified with the State of Massachusetts and a PTCB certification is required. While trainees may begin working toward their training at age 16, you must be 18 years old and have your high school diploma of GED. At least 500 hours of experience under the direct supervision of a pharmacist are required.

In Massachusetts you the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Pharmacy uses an outside vendor for certification processing called Professional Credential Services (PCS.)The website is www.pcshq.com.
