Pharmacy Technician Certification in Colorado

If the pharmacy technician-to-pharmacist ratio is 3:1 Colorado requires that at least one technician be recognized by a national certification board, hold a degree from an accredited program, or have completed 500 or more hours of approved experiential training. Working toward certification under a pharmacist’s supervision can be part of these 500 hours of experience.

Colorado pharmacy technicians with certification may find better career opportunities as well as the opportunity to earn a higher salary.
